Pineapple Basil Switchel

A refreshing drink for the warm days of Spring and Summer full of electrolytes and fresh fruit flavors.

  • 1/3 C. Apple Cider Vinegar, raw Bragg’s is Perfect
  • 1/3 C. Maple syrup
  • 1 C. Pineapple, chunks
  • 1 Small handful Basil, roughly chopped
  • 3 T. Ginger, chopped
  • 1 Lemon, juiced
  • Water to fill a half gallon Mason jar or pitcher


  • Place apple cider vinegar and maple syrup in a half gallon jar or pitcher. Stir until combined.
  • Add pineapple, basil, ginger, and lemon juice to jar. Mix until incorporated.
  • Add water to fill jar, cover and chill in refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
  • Strain and enjoy over ice.
